A Very Long Drive
I had this idealistic idea of what a drive starting in California and traveling through Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, and finally Kansas would look like…I was kinda right, but mostly wrong. The long daily drives on a small time crunch meant no stopping to really take in the stunning landscapes whizzing by around me at 70 mph. This was infuriating at first, as the loss of potential photos and memories put me in a depressed state, until I realized that I can still capture these moments If I can embrace the imperfection. So I took most of the following pictures from my roadtrip from my short-term home of Ukiah, CA to my new and also childhood home of Wichita, KS from the car window as me and my brother Elijah traveled at highway speeds. Not perfect, but I think that is kinda perfect anyways. I hope you enjoy!
